I've been cut open along my lower abdomen 4 times.

I've been cut open along my lower abdomen 4 times. 3 for children and 1 for removal of ridiculously large dermoid cysts.
I've always healed beautifully.
I've never opened. However, this wasn't the case with the birth of my final daughter, Sawyer.
I had an allergic reaction to Ancef and anaphylaxis was a worry by the doctors. My husband jokes that he's never seen people run so fast.
The anesthesiologist couldn't spinal me properly and I had a reaction to the anesthesia. Which resulted in me being knocked out. I got to hear my daughters first cry, but I don't remember anything else and didn't get any contact with her for almost 4 hours after.
I woke up in immense pain and I don't think I've ever felt pain like that. Not even with my torsion I had with my son.
Though the wound is superficial and it's just the skin edges separated, the worry alone until I saw my doctor for validation was hell on my body.
I still struggle to hold my daughter while my toddler cries because mommy can't hold her. I'm only 2 weeks out and it's been hell. But there's finally some calm. Now to just heal and not overdo it.
Please excuse the hair... I've only just now been able to see my damn vagina and I still can't touch it 🤷‍♂️ .

Best part...
She freaks out after because it burns.

So like I said...his daughter not mine.
